These are our general terms for regions where we do not yet offer locally reviewed legal documents. Mandatory consumer protections of your home jurisdiction still apply to you and are not limited by these documents.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ClearClauses, an AI contract-clause analysis service operated by Alko Intelligence (“we”, “us”). By using ClearClauses, you agree to these Terms.
ClearClauses is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change or be discontinued, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. A free review remains available to try the service without signup.
The analysis ClearClauses produces is AI-generated information for general guidance only. It is not legal advice, it does not create an attorney-client relationship, and it is no substitute for a qualified attorney. Always consult a licensed attorney before acting on any output from the service.
You agree not to submit unlawful, infringing, or malicious content, and not to use the contract or content of others without authorization. You also agree not to abuse, automate, scrape, or otherwise use the service in a way designed to exhaust or overload our resources or circumvent rate limits.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. ClearClauses includes a free tier: you can run one free review with no signup, and free credits may also be granted when you create an account. Free reviews and free credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. Credits are consumed at a rate of one credit per contract analysis.
We offer paid options: a one-time single review purchase, and a monthly subscription that grants a set number of review credits each month. Prices are shown on the pricing page and are charged in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card details.
The monthly subscription renews automatically: your payment method is charged the then-current monthly price at the start of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your Billing page, which opens the Stripe billing portal. After you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period and is not renewed again; credits already granted remain available.
Charges are generally non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days at contact@alkointelligence.com and we will review your request in good faith. Consumers in some jurisdictions may have additional statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights, which these Terms do not limit.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alko Intelligence and its development team from any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from or relating to your unlawful, infringing, or improper use of the service. This clause does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alko Intelligence will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the service or its output.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The state and federal courts located in Wyoming will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms.
